A Little About Mrs. Goen
My name is Christy Goen, and I am your child's Media Specialist or library teacher. Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I grew-up in Anderson and I graduated from Anderson High School. I attended college at Franklin College where I received a degree in Elementary Education. This is my tenth year teaching and I love every minute of it! I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, kindergarten, and currently Library! Some of your students may have had me as a kindergarten teacher here at 10th St.
I am married and have a 6 year old daughter named Addison that is in 1st grade at 10th St. In my spare time I enjoy being outside, going to the movies, canoeing, shopping, and watching the Colts.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.
