Welcome to Ms. Painter's Classroom!

Hi there!

 

My name is Sarah Painter.  I have been teaching in Anderson Community Schools for 12 years, and I've spent the past 9 in 1st grade.  This has been amazing for me, because I absolutely love teaching first graders!

 

As a child I grew up in Anderson, then moved to Fort Wayne.  After graduating from Ball State University I settled back in Anderson and have been here ever since.  I love this community and the schools, and I really feel at home here.

 

Tenth Street Elementary School has been a great place to teach.  This is a wonderful school, but it feels like more than that.  Tenth Street feels like a family.  Our staff and students really care about each other, and I think you can feel that when you visit our building.
